Welcome to the Women's Club of Milton's website. The Women's Club of Milton is an organization of women that meet to provide services to the town of Milton. This club is non-profit and we donate our time to raise money that help several local charities while building a strong network of ladies in the town of Milton.
The Club was organized February 7, 1973 and was federated May 9, 1973. The Milton Century Club is one of nine clubs in Sussex County and are part of the Delaware State Federation of Women's Clubs, a part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs in Washington D.C. making them part of the International Federation of Women's Clubs.
A Collect for Clubwoman
Keep us, oh God, from pettiness
Let us be large in thought, in word, in deed
Let us be done with fault finding
And leave off self seeking.
May we put away all pretense
And meet each other face to face,
Without self pitty and without prejudice.
May we never be hasty in judgement
And always generous.
Let us to grow calm, serene, gentle.
Teach us to put into action
Our better impulses,
Straightforward and unafraid.
Grant that we may realize it is
The little things that create differences.
That in the big things of life we are at one.
And may we strive to touch and to know
The Great, common human heart of us all,
And, oh. Lord God, let us not forget to be kind.
